MY DAY-TO-DAY

Navigating the Dynamic Travel Industry

In the world of travel, no two days are alike. The mission of Japanspecialist is to bring European customers to Japan. As the Marketing Manager at Japanspecialist, my role is to ensure that our presence is always in the right place, at the right time, reaching the right audience for Japan travel.

My daily routine is never the same. I maintain a direct line of communication with my team, sales, and operations, bridging the gaps between departments. This involves numerous meetings, chats, and brainstorming sessions.

With multiple projects on my plate, I’ve learned to manage stress by incorporating these habits into my day-to-day life to keep me energised:

  • Starting the day with morning exercise before work.
  • Taking 10-minute for meditation break.
  • Staying well-organised.
  • Staying hydrated.
  • Remaining adaptable.

As a traveller, my journeys have equipped me with the tools to become the person I am today. Travelling has opened my mind, showing that it’s our differences that make life truly exciting. These distinctions continue to inspire me, reminding me of the boundless wonders of the world.

We have a presence in most of the markets in Europe, and I love this diversity. What I adore most is the multicultural essence, which I encounter daily at Japanspecialist. Our team is extremely dynamic and united, which makes adversity more manageable during challenging periods. We navigated the challenges posed by COVID-19, becoming even stronger against all odds. If that isn’t wonderful, then what is?

Innovation resonates with me. It’s the key that helped us navigate the storm of COVID-19. The ability of forward-thinking is among humanity’s most vital traits. I’m personally amazed by the advancement and possibilities that Artificial Intelligence offers. If we leverage it wisely, especially in marketing, it could grant us a significant edge over competitors.

PROUDEST MOMENT

Award Winning & The Day I Started

I have two significant moments. The first was winning the CEO Award for our Japanspecialist project and the second place in the GBU Award within our JTB Group.

The second moment that holds great importance to me is the day I joined the company. I began as a Community Manager for the Spanish market at first. I recall not being the strongest candidate, but it was Maria Rey, our Sales Manager Spain, who made all the difference. She believed in me and supported me from day one. To this day, I remain immensely grateful to her, and her actions will always hold a special place in my memory.

FAVOURITE DESTINATION

Every Place I Travelled

I'm Italian but have been away from home for a decade. I spent five years in London and have now called Madrid home for another five. I've had the opportunity to travel to Japan, Indonesia, the Philippines, Brazil, Thailand, Seychelles, and many more countries. It's hard to pick just one favourite because each of these places has gifted me with unforgettable moments that I'll cherish forever.
