MY DAY-TO-DAY
Balancing Client Needs, Supplier Negotiations, and Creative Solutions
My daily responsibilities include overseeing client relationships, negotiating with suppliers, and constantly figuring out the best approach to make sure that everyone has the best possible experience at our events.
I have the opportunity to merge my passion for helping people, travelling, and unleashing creativity at work within a varied and exciting work environment at congresses and meetings. Managing various circumstances and continually learning new things adds another level of challenge and progress to both my career and personal life.
WHY TRAVEL?
Realisation of my childhood dream
My dream job has always been to open a coffee shop where people can come together, socialise, network, or simply enjoy delicious coffee. This aspiration has shaped my career path since my youth. I enrolled in a tourism school in order to pursue this dream, which eventually led me to discover other options that could help me realise it. Eventually, I realised that organising conferences and events could be a means to achieve exactly what I've always wanted. That realisation brought me into the world of Kuoni Tumlare.
However, the landscape of this profession has evolved over the years, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. We've faced unforeseen challenges and adapted to new skills in the virtual world, which has become embedded in our daily lives. Despite these changes, one thing remains constant: people always desire to interact with each other on a personal level, stay in touch with each other, and explore new locations.

A team like a second family
I joined the Kuoni Tumlare Congress team ten years ago, and I have never regretted it. In my life, friends and family are paramount. I want to be surrounded by people who care about me and whom I care for, not just in my personal life but also at work, where I spend most of my day. I feel happy, inspired, motivated, valued, important, and appreciated in this environment. Such workplaces are rare to find. Every project is a team effort, and I am proud of my colleagues and what we have achieved so far together. I also look forward to what lies ahead of us. This team feels like a second family to me, and I couldn't possibly be more grateful.
FAVOURITE DESTINATION
Patagonia: Stunning natural beauty
There were a lot of places where I had fun in various ways, met great people, and felt positive energy. However, because of its amazing natural beauty, Patagonia would always be my first choice if I had to pick just one location.
