Zurich, Switzerland — 4 August 2026 — Kuoni Tumlare has introduced a newly expanded Chief Experience Officer (CXO) function as part of its continued focus on customer experience, operational excellence and long-term business performance.

The CXO function brings together Kuoni Tumlare’s DMC offices, key operational teams, procurement and customer-facing functions under one integrated leadership structure. The approach is designed to strengthen alignment across destinations and functions, improve consistency in delivery, and support a more seamless experience for customers, partners and travellers.

As travel expectations continue to evolve, Kuoni Tumlare is strengthening the way its teams work across markets and business areas. By connecting local destination expertise with wider operational leadership, the CXO function will support closer collaboration, faster decision-making and stronger coordination across the organisation.

The new structure places experience at the centre of Kuoni Tumlare’s operating model. It reflects the company’s belief that customer experience is shaped not only by products and destinations, but also by the strength of its operational delivery, supplier partnerships, service consistency and the ability of teams to work together across markets.

Mirela Sucic Cevra has been appointed Chief Experience Officer and will lead all Kuoni Tumlare DMC offices in Europe, as well as key Europe-wide operations, procurement and customer service functions. With two decades of experience in destination management, Mirela brings deep operational expertise, strong commercial understanding and extensive leadership experience across multiple destinations and markets.

Goro Kido, CEO of Kuoni Tumlare, said:

“The creation of the Chief Experience Officer function is an important step in strengthening Kuoni Tumlare for the future. Our business is built on the quality of the experiences we deliver for our customers, our partners and the event organisers who rely on us every day.

By bringing our DMC offices, operations, procurement and customer-facing functions closer together, we are creating stronger alignment across the organisation and positioning ourselves to deliver greater consistency, agility and value.

Mirela brings the operational experience, people leadership and market knowledge needed to shape this function successfully. Her appointment reflects our confidence in the next phase of Kuoni Tumlare’s growth and transformation.”

The CXO function will play a central role in supporting Kuoni Tumlare’s strategic priorities by strengthening business performance, enhancing collaboration across destinations, and ensuring the organisation continues to respond effectively to the needs of its customers and partners.

It will also support the company’s ambition to deliver high-quality destination management through a more connected and experience-led structure. A structure that combines local expertise with global perspective, operational discipline and a clear focus on value creation.

The introduction of the CXO function marks an important step in Kuoni Tumlare’s ongoing transformation and reinforces the company’s commitment to building a more integrated, customer-focused and future-ready organisation.
