As the Operations Manager of the Boston & Brazil teams, my days involve orchestrating a dynamic team, overseeing diverse business segments, and coordinating seamless travel experiences. I navigate through reports and forecasts, collaborating closely with colleagues to optimise operations. My role combines leadership, strategic planning, and effective communication to ensure the smooth functioning of the travel business.

PROUDEST MOMENT

The Award-winning Passion Play Project

I’ve worked on various big projects through the years with Kuoni Tumlare but probably the proudest moment so far was when we were honoured with company awards for the Oberammergau Passion Play Project. Despite its postponement for years due to COVID, my team excelled in rebooking, refunds and navigating complex customer service scenarios. And of course, in the end we got to successfully operate the programmes in 2022 with the collaboration of the local expert teams. It’s definitely a great example of the grit and teamwork I referred to earlier in this write-up.

Each destination holds a special place in my heart, from the historic and culturally rich city of Boston, my second home, where I established my family to the vibrant city of Budapest, my hometown. With the majestic Alps, it offers endless opportunities for skiing and hiking, and the stunning Croatian seaside, dotted with charming ancient towns, these are just a glimpse of the world's wonders waiting to be explored. I encourage travellers to embark on adventures, regardless of their destination, and immerse themselves in the local cuisine, culture, breath-taking landscapes, and architectural marvels that each location has to offer.
